How do I convert PowerPoint presentations into on-line learning tools?

"Having recorded every presentation, I’m thinking to skip the whole production of CDs in a jewel case etc and go straight to a completely online format. I'm looking for help to link recorded audio or video content with Powerpoint as a product package that could be downloaded and viewed via the web as an online learning tool."

Camtasia from www.techsmith.com is a popular choice for doing on-screen video (including PowerPoint). Another option is FlashPoint, a PowerPoint plug-in from http://www.flashdemo.net/, which converts PowerPoint presentations into Flash movies.

How do I upload audio files to my site?

"Can you tell me how I would go about uploading audio files to my website? I have the mp3 file of a teleclass I did and I want to put a link to that on the site."
The simplest option is to just upload it to your Web server and then link to it just like you link to, say, a PDF file.

Alternatively, you might like to create a playable version on your Web page, like I've done here. I use AudioBlog.com for this.

Either way, you might be interested in finding out more here.

Do I require studio quality recordings?

"The quality of my recordings is not studio quality."
People buy your products for the information in them, not because of the production quality. Sure, you don't want to produce sub-standard material; but by the same token, it doesn't have to be top-notch quality either. As long as your content is high quality, your listeners will pretty much forgive most other things.

Remember also that you shouldn't be recording material only for producing audio products. Record it, get it transcribed, and use that material for written products as well.
